Mr.K.C.Varghese Kannappilly, the founder had a vision of enriching the rich traditions of hospitality, and his love for serving the homely taste to his fellow villagers and those come for visits in this small town of Kanjirappally. His devotion and gratitude towards the Holy Mother was the motivation for giving the name as Queens for his new venture. It was a simple beginning with a small hotel(QUEENS RESTAURANT) in 1978 and a catering service in his own building near to bus station, Kanjirappally.

It was in the year 1991, thanks to the support and co-operation from all the society, the hotel was rebuilt to a multi- storied new building at the same place. 

In 2001, Queens Savories and Ice Cream Parlor was started near to Queens Hotel and it was yet another mile stone in our constant growth and vision.

                        

                         The next stage of our growth was due to the very reason that there were no standard vegetarian hotels in and around Kanjirappally which are successfully maintained. More over Once Kanjirappally got its importance increased to many folds due to the large number of devotees visiting Sabarimala in each year. As a result of this vision to supply homely and quality food at a cheaper rate  to all the tourists and pilgrims, we have finally started, our very new project – QUEENS DINE AT HOME  in  Aug 24th, 2009 at a calm and beautiful place called Cheppumppara  in between the Towns of Ponkunnam and Kanjirappally. Here we give special emphasis to supply Quality homely food at reasonable and affordable prices. People from all walks of life comes here frequently as possible. It is of great satisfaction that our clients include ministers and other VIP’s from Kerala and other states. And now Queens Dine at Home is the most successful pure vegetarian Hotel in this area of Kottayam.We are also now the franchise of Kerala State Cashew Development Corporation.

                    Our future project is a NON-VEG. RESTAURANT at chotty, between kanjirappally and mundakkayam towns.
